What is a
Stroopwafel
Some call it a caramel waffle, some call it caramel syrup. Yet it is a Stroopwafel.
A Daelmans Stroopwafel is something unique. Something you have never tasted before. Yes, it looks thin, but it is packed with flavor. Really indulging. The wafel is made of sweet dough, mixed with creamy butter and pressed into a wafel iron until golden brown. When it is still warm, the thin wafel is sliced in two halves. The mouth-watering stroop, a caramel flavored syrup with added butter, cinnamon and Bourbon vanilla is spread between the halves which sticks them together.
